How much snow do we need? What's under the snow?

In a prevoius blog post Is this normal? we tackled the question of  whether the resort opening late was normal and had a photo of the upper mountain showing the snow was accumulating up top despite the rain down low. In this post we are going to look at what sort of snowfall is needed to get the peak areas, off piste and the areas out of the niseko rules gates open by looking at photos from on the mountain during summer and the last week and pin pointing them on our mountain peak photo from the last post, we think you will be suprised.
