Sapporo Snow Festival in Photos

This year things seemed different at the Sapporo Snow Festival for some reason, maybe just because it was the tenth year of visiting the festival, maybe because we went on the busy Saturday evening, maybe because it is evolving, maybe it was. This year I seemed to take in the surroundings of the festival more , the small stalls, street vendors, it seemed more like a small village was created in amongst the huge snow scuptures. Maybe this was just me seeing it different this time.
