Like in any season the snow is not always guaranteed where ever you are in the world. The season started off pretty average and everybody wondered where the famous Niseko snow was. Well looking back a year at our Discover Niseko blog it was pretty much the same. Lots of other great reading across at discoverniseko.net too.

As the first weekend of the 09/10 season comes to an end we saw 2 great days of powder. As Derek over at Niseko Tourism says it is a weekend that brings us together for what we all came here for and that is to ride snow. So here is to the great opening weekend, a bluebird Sunday and the next 6 months of Niseko snow. Kampaii!! Check out some photo's from today on this page
