first tracks on Annupuri 2014/15 season

last year on the 15 of November we got first tracks on Annupuri,  you can read about that here. This year first tracks were on the 16th but you may have been able to get tracks earlier. When we first looked at the resort at about 8am someone had already be up and ridden down and a couple of new crews were just heading out. We went home and waited as the forecast was saying snow showers in the morning with the weather breaking in the afternoon. We never expected it to get fully clear but decided to leave it until mid-morning.

By the time we set out the last of the few earlier crews were just coming down.

As reported in our last report about 20 - 30cm fell in Annupuri base area, not too suprising the lower mountain measured in at 32.5 cm on Sunday once things settled, the measurement was taken on the Paradise Course in about the same location as last year, where it measured close to 60cm.

What does this mean? We would say that the season so far has been nothing unusual, temperatures are remaining low and with it the snowlevel. The weather is stable however with a few small systems passing through in the next week that should bring a little more snow to the mountains tops but that's about it.

check back tomorrow for some more photos.... and they are
