Getting to Niseko
To get to Niseko you first have to fly to New Chitose International Airport (CTS) You can fly to New Chitose International Airport form many international origins or domestically on one of Japan's domestic carriers.

Getting to Niseko Hirafu by Bus
Cost: ¥2300 one way

Travel Time: 2 - 2.5 hrs
Bus is by far the easiest way to get to Niseko. It is direct, takes under 2 hours and all buses are late model. There are a number bus companies including Chuo, Donan, Sky Bus and Goodsports Whiteliner. You can purchase tickets on arrival at the bus information counter in the arrivals hall or ask your accommodation provider. All signage is in English and easily located on arrival.
Getting to Niseko Hirafu by Train
Price: 2800 Yen Train Departs at Kutchan
Travel Time: 2.5 to 3 hours
If you are coming straight to Niseko from Sapporo's Chitose Airport the train works out to be more expensive and it takes a little bit longer. You will have to lug your gear a lot more too and also have to change trains at either Sapporo or Otaru. Once at the Kutchan Train Station you will have to use a taxi or bus to complete your journey. If you are touring Hokkaido, then you may want to rent a car to make the most of you trip.It must be noted that in winter the drivng conditions are extremely hazardous in Hokkaido due to the shear amount of snow that Hokkaido gets and therefore if you intend to just spend your time in Niseko there is no real need for a vehicle.
